M3 multibeam imaging/obstacle avoidance sonar
M3 is Kongsberg Mesotech company newly launched a multi-beam imaging sonar, the sonar reliable design, superior performance, its beam Angle is 140 °, detection range of 0.2 ~ 150 meters. It is mainly used in underwater observation and obstacle avoidance.
The high refresh rate integrated with multiple beams greatly improves the quality of single beam imaging. Using the dynamic focusing technology, the imaging effect of the close position is enhanced. The width of vertical beam can be adjusted to adapt to different obstacle avoidance conditions. The Chirp pulse technology greatly improves the detection distance.
