The towed multi-parameter profile system is a new kind of ocean monitoring equipment, which changes the traditional station measurement mode in the ocean monitoring technology, makes full use of the ship direct navigation process, and carries out rapid, efficient and real-time multi-parameter synchronous measurement of the ocean profile with its wave-trajectory movement and different types of sensors.
The main applications are: Marine power, Marine resources and Marine ecosystem survey; Used for monitoring the water quality environment of oceans, lakes and reservoirs; Used in Marine engineering and Marine military scientific investigation.
Measurable ocean parameters include temperature, salinity, depth, dissolved oxygen (DO), ph, turbidity, chlorophyll, nutrient salts (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, silicate), etc.
